Common Core Math Standards:
This year the district and state are switching over to the National Common Core that has been adopted by almost all the states. There are less standards overall, but they focus on the details of the concepts (digging deeper to the understanding). The district has put together a plan that brings both the Common Core and Arizona math standards together. This year we will be very busy getting to all the standards that we need before AIMS.
